This piece was produced for the
Evolver Prize (the Dorset & West Country arts magazine) annual.
The brief required the piece to be exactly A4 size.
Originally part of another water-inspired piece, I embellished it with silver and gold fibres and mounted the piece on a backing of creamy metallic fabric. The finished work reminded me of the traces left by the sea on wet sand, combined with the watery colours of orange and black pebbles.
