contemporary abstract fiber art (felt making) by UK fiber artist and felt maker Mary-Clare Buckle

This piece was produced for the Bridport (Dorset) Open Art Exhibition. The theme was 'food', so I decided to create something which brought to mind the colours, tastes and smells of tropical fruit and vegetables. I particularly thought of chillies, after one of my regular trips to India, and I wanted to celebrate sexiness at the same time - hence the title. (apologies for the unusually poor image - it sold straight away, so we only had the chance to take a few rough photographs, rather than scanning it in directly)
